Southern Iron Works' ideal location at the intersection of two major federal highways, I-95/I-395 and I-495 provides access by its diesel fleet to the markets of Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia and the eastern United States. Railroad access is available by siding just off the main line of the Southern Railway.
