Our staff represents a broad spectrum of fabricating knowledge with many years of experience. A sophisticated data processing system provides the necessary support for effective handling of accounting functions, estimating, fabrication cost and inventory control.

Southern Iron Works maintains a fully trained staff of draftsmen who offer years of experience in structural steel detailing.

All shops are served by overhead handling equipment as well as power driven roller tables. Equipment includes saws, punches, radial drills, punch and spacing tables, shears, brakes and welding equipment, as well as the latest computerized technology.

Our plant is certified for Simple and Complex Steel Construction by the American Institute of Steel Construction.
